Let him get accustomed to his new surroundings by having a play with some toys before you ask the photographer to start filming. It does relieve if your child is in the mood to co-operate. If you continue trying to persuade him when he obviously isn't in the right mood, you will not have the best chance of success. You want him to look jolly and smile as opposed to sulky and moody. At times when you have the studio booked, you may have to just make the best of the situation so it might be worth taking some candy with you to the shoot which is sure to induce a smile or two!
