An Exciting Golf Vacation At Florida
We were a group of ten- consisting of two families. There was a good mix of kids, teenagers and the grown-up people. We realize golf holidays to Florida with this group would go beyond only having to shop golf equipment. The golf holidays to Florida would need careful consideration and meticulous detailing and we were ready for some challenge.
I have been on golf tours to many places previously but these were usually as part of my seminar tour and therefore I did not have to slog out the information. Merely other major trip I have planned was a tour to Hawaii with my family and since it was not one of the golf holidays to some unknown place, I did not have to bother relating to what my kids would do when my wife and I went golfing! Luckily for us, we were being joined by another family for the trip. Pete and Martha have been my friends since my school days and Pete shared my enthusiasm for golf. Pete had gone on golf holidays to other places before but generally they were disasters as his family was stranded, having nothing to do while he went off golfing. Hence most of the times he would have to give up his golf to keep his family entertained.
With our assorted experiences, we decided that when we plan our golf holidays to Florida, we would do it in such a way that no one would feel bored and we would have our share of golf also.
We could not have selected golf holidays to a better place! We stayed at a lodge that had more than adequate room for a group of ten. We had our privacy. There were 3 bathrooms plus a spa. What excited my small daughter was the well-maintained swimming pool.
Because Martha was not interested in golf, she, with the older children, was in-charge of the rest of the group. There were some best places to go shopping and Martha and the kids-children were kept busy while we set to playing some serious golf. My wife had a minor injury and so could not play golf the next day. But there was never a dull moment as we enjoyed the golf holidays to Florida. There is an amusement park near by and the ladies and children set of for the park the next day. They had so much fun that they did not miss us one bit!
Our golf holidays to Florida were few best days of my life. We plan to go on golf holidays to diverse places every year now. My eldest daughter is showing a lot of interest in golf, so we will have to purchase golf equipment for her quickly. She might join us in the golf session when we go on golf holidays to any place next time.
